Drip Attachment in Tokyo Underground

Last weekend there was crazy wind and rain all over Tokyo. After visiting a friend, we had to take a long detour through the Tokyo underground to get back. In one of the stations (maybe Kayabacho) they’d rigged up a drip to stop the water falling from the ceiling onto the platform and causing accidents. [...]

Nice Shot Shacho!

Nice Shot Shacho (ナイスショット社長!) is what you must absolutely say to your boss after each golf shot he makes, no matter how good or bad it it. To get that nice shot yourself, you have to start practicing at an early age, at any opportunity you can, even in the station waiting for the train.

More JR Station Maps (Japanese)

I wrote a post before about some JR train station maps that are on their site. The list included only maps that had English translations, but recently I found a much longer list (with 170 stations). It’s only in Japanese but you can work out the general layout by looking.
