Strange Bicycle Cart Near Akihabara

Sign on the Bicycle Back

On a walk around the streets of Akihabara, away from the electronics shops and on one of the big roads I came across this strange bicycle drawn cart. It looks like a homeless person’s mobile home, with all the possessions in the back. On each side, there was a handwritten poster with various messages. Above reads ‘本日キーボード(sth)ありません’ Perhaps, today, we’re not working on keyboards.

Bizarre Bike near Akihabara

Everywhere there were these handwritten notices, with no meaning that I could understand. All over the blue sheet and the wooden struts were words written in marker. I wonder what the owner looks like, and what he does with this cart in the daytime.

Begging Bowls with Yen

There were what looked like bowls for begging with, one with numbers written around the rim, and a place to hold can coffee.

Sign on the side

Part of the text reads ホームレス or Homeless. Another says 歯が時々痛い ‘My teeth hurt sometimes’
