My Map of Japan
Welcome to My Map of Japan. This is a site where I get to try out PHP programming techniques with a little SQL and CSS. The site has been build from scratch, so it’s rough around the edges, but as I work on it, I’ll give updates here.
The idea of this site is to capture Japan. Since coming here, I’ve had a dream to know the whole country, how it works and what it’s made of. I know it’s not possible, but I’m going to put as many of the little places that I see and love here. It’s not everything, but it’s a start.
Another reason for this site is to help people find places. It’s tough for people coming to Japan, the language and the strangeness make it hard to get out and find places, so I want to give people who come here ideas about places to go to and things to do. Even in my little town in Chiba, there are a million hidden treasures, strange shops, interesting cafes, pretty little parks, which are hidden unless you take the time to seek them out. These are the kinds of places that I’ll be putting on this site.
